The Ashcraft family has a long history of serving families in the Rio Grande Valley. First with Harry Kreidler, father of Dorothy Ashcraft, starting his funeral home in McAllen, Texas in 1912. Then in the late 1940's, Dorothy and J.B. Ashcraft starting their own funeral home known as Kreidler-Ashcraft Funeral Directors which they successfully ran for many years in Harlingen, Texas. In 1978, Dorothy and J.B.'s son, Buck Ashcraft opened Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home also in Harlingen which continues the family tradition.
Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home has served the Harlingen area with understanding, dignity and compassion. That commitment to unparalleled service that has been our cornerstone continues in every aspect of our service to your family and community.
